Make sure you do your homework. Any mlm that you have to buy product to sell involves risk and money on your behalf. There is a MLM that does not require you to sell anything. Question by lewis2229: How Do I set up a PA System – Help Needed!?
I am having several parties over the summer and I need a P.A system that I can run my laptop (2006 Macbook Pro) through.
I don’t know what I need to buy as I am completely new to this. Im not sure what does between laptop and speakers to get a better and louder sound without blowing up my laptop.
What type of speakers?
What type of leads?
What type of mixers/amplifiers?

If you are only using this temporaryly, rent one from one of the rent centers around. To keep, buy an outdoor speaker (2) like JBL, Polk, Infinity etc., an expensive power amplifier (50 watts 2 channel) and a mixer (2-4 source). Plug your laptop earphone plug to the mixer and then to the power amp and speaker to the amp. If you have a current stereo receiver use that instead of the power amp. Or buy an optional speaker for your laptop. Hope this helps out.
